Print Plant

This is a bizarre little alpine plant, forming a low mat of tiny grey-green leaves. In summer the plant produces minute flowers surrounded by silvery bracts with the texture of tissue paper, and these remain on the plant well into the fall. Nice edging plant for a hot, sunny border, in the rock garden or in troughs. Needs good drainage. Plants are easily increased by dividing in early spring. Drought tolerant, once established. Evergreen.
